Description

These statistics describe the use of information technology in enterprises and electronic business activities. The statistics are produced from data obtained with an extensive sample survey of enterprises. The obtained data are raised to correspond with those on all enterprises in the examined industries and size categories.

Data content

Data on the use of information technology and electronic commerce in enterprises. E.g. Internet, intranet, extranet, broadband, home pages, services offered via home pages, Internet commerce, EDI, obstacles to Internet commerce, data security instruments.

Use of the data is subject to general rules on confidentiality. The statistics compiled from the data are public subject to the condition that data concerning an individual enterprise cannot be identified from them.
