Appointment at Statistics Finland: Leena Storgårds appointed Director of Business Structures Department

Ms Leena Storgårds, Master of Business Science, has been appointed Director of Statistics Finland's Business Structures Department for the five-year term between 1 December 2008 and 30 November 2013.

The Business Structures Department produces and develops statistics and information services concerning business structures, R&D activity, science and technology, the information society, and energy and the environment.

Leena Storgårds has been working at TIKE, the Information Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, since 2004. She has held the position of Director of TIKE's Statistical Group since 2007. Prior to this Ms Storgårds has worked at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and at Statistics Finland as Head of Statistics in the Business Structures Department.
