Mr Kari Lehto, Licentiate of Philosophy, has been appointed Director of IT Services in the IT and Statistical Methods Department for a five year term starting on 1 April 2007. Prior to this appointment Mr Lehto held the position of IT Manager at the Finnish Forest Research Institute.
Ms Heli Mikkelä, Master of Science (Agriculture and Forestry), has been appointed Director of Information Services in the Information Services Department for a five year term starting on 1 April 2007. Prior to this appointment Ms Mikkelä held the position of Chief Information Officer at Statistics Finland.
Ms Anna-Leena Reinikainen, Master of Laws, has been appointed Director of Management Services in the Management Services Department for a five year term starting on 1 April 2007. Ms Reinikainen has held the position of Director of Management Services at Statistics Finland since 2001.
Ms Hilkka Vihavainen, Master of Social Sciences, has been appointed Director of International Affairs in the Secretariat of the Director General of Statistics Finland for a five year term starting on 1 April 2007. Ms Vihavainen has held the position of Director of International Affairs at Statistics Finland since 2002.
The term of office of Ms Kaija Hovi, Master of Social Sciences, as Director of the Business Structures Department has been extended until 30 November 2008.
