Number of students at universities of applied sciences continued growing in 2023

According to Statistics Finland, the number of students in university of applied sciences education continued to grow in 2023. The number of students attending university of applied sciences education leading to a degree was 170,800, of whom 52,300 were new students. There were 6,800 more students and 1,100 more new students than in the previous year. The number of degrees completed was 31,000. The number grew by 2,400 from the year before.
