According to Statistics Finland, a total of 5,373 new passenger cars were registered in February 2024, which was 12 per cent fewer than one year earlier. In all, 9,236 new vehicles were registered in February. First registrations decreased by 10 per cent from the corresponding month of the previous year.

  • In January to February period of 2024, a total of 11,964 new passenger cars were registered in, which was 10 per cent fewer than one year earlier.
  • Of first-time registered passenger cars in February 2024, 25 per cent were fully electric. The number of their registrations was 1,330, or 28 per cent fewer than one year earlier.
  • Used imported passenger cars numbered 3,070, which was 31 per cent more than one year earlier.
