Households’ indebtedness ratio continued falling in the third quarter of 2023

According to Statistics Finland, households’ financial assets declined by EUR 1.8 billion during the third quarter of 2023 and amounted to EUR 378.8 billion. In turn, households' debts decreased by EUR 0.8 billion and amounted to EUR 202.6 billion. As a result of these changes, households' net financial assets decreased. Net financial assets refer to the difference between financial assets and liabilities.
