Producer prices for manufactured products rose by 6.6 per cent in the year
According to Statistics Finland, producer prices for manufactured products rose by an average of 6.6 per cent from November 2009 to November 2010. Producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market rose by 7.0 per cent, while the producer prices of export industries went up by 6.2 per cent.

The export price index rose by 6.5 per cent and the import price index by 8.7 per cent in the year. The year-on-year change in the basic price index for domestic supply was by 7.3 per cent and that in the wholesale price index was 8.8 per cent.
The rise in the producer prices for manufactured products was caused by increased prices of, for instance, oil products and pulp from the previous year’s November. The rising of the prices was curbed by falls in the prices of electronic products.
From October to November, producer prices for manufactured products remained unchanged, on average. The prices of oil products, among others, rose, while the prices of metals and pulp fell.
