Employment in cultural industries weakened from 2010, even though employment in artistic and literary creation improved

According to Statistics Finlands Labour Force Survey, employment has weakened in cultural industries from 2010 to the end of 2013 by approximately ten per cent. In 2013, the activities employed 112,000 people against around 124,480 in 2010. Creative, arts and entertainment activities form an exception as employment improved from 2010 by nearly 30 per cent and exceeded 20,000 people in 2013. By contrast, employment in advertising fell by over 25 per cent between 2010 and 2013
