Building costs grew by 0.8 per cent year-on-year in June

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.8 per cent higher in June 2014 than in June 2013. The prices of labour inputs in construction went up by 0.6 per cent, the prices of materials grew by 1.0 per cent, and those of other inputs increased by 1.1 per cent from one year ago.

From May to June, the total index of building costs remained unchanged. The prices of labour inputs fell by 0.1 per cent, the prices of materials rose by 0.1 per cent and those of other inputs went down by 0.1 per cent.
