Construction work the most important product group of domestic final use in 2007

According to the Statistics Finland's supply and use tables concerning the year 2007, product group 45, Construction work, was the most significant product group of domestic final use in Finland's national economy. The next most important were product group 70, Real estate services; product group 85, Health and social work services; product group 15, Food products and beverages; product group 75, Public ad-ministration and defence services; compulsory social security services; and product group 80, Educa-tion services. Domestic final use is comprised of final consumption expenditure and gross capital formation.

Statistics Finland publishes annually supply and use tables describing product flows in the national economy, and input-output and analysis tables derived from them. The data published now concern the year 2007. Tables concerning 2008 will be published in July 2011. The new Standard Industrial Classification TOL 2008 and the new Classification of Products by Activity CPA 2008 will be introduced at the same time.
