Release of subject choices in upper secondary education will be postponed
The release of figures on subject choices in upper secondary education concerning the year 2020 will be postponed.
Differing from our prior notification, data on subject choices in upper secondary education will not be released on 16 December 2020. Figures concerning 2020 will be released at a later date to be notified separately.
From the beginning of 2020, Statistics Finland started receiving data on subject choices in a new KOSKI register format, which caused considerable changes in data processing. Quality problems have arisen in the data on subject choices concerning 2020, for which reason the data cannot be released before more work is done to ensure quality.
