Pandemic had an effect on studies, employment and placement after education in the field of culture

According to Statistics Finland, 36,276 students were studying for a qualification in the field of culture in 2020. Five per cent more new students started studies than in the year before. Seven per cent fewer qualifications were completed than in 2019, which was caused by the drop in the number of vocational qualifications by over one fifth.
