According to Statistics Finland's preliminary data, prices of old dwellings in housing companies fell by 0.2 per cent in the six biggest towns in August. In other parts of the country than large towns, prices went up by 1.5 per cent compared to the corresponding period one year earlier. Among large towns, prices rose most in Vantaa and Espoo from one year ago. Prices have fallen from July throughout Finland. In the whole country, prices rose by 0.4 per cent from the corresponding period in 2021 and fell by 1.4 per cent from July. In August, nine per cent fewer sales of old dwellings in blocks of flats and terraced houses were made through real estate agencies than one year ago.
