According to Statistics Finland, the number of people living alone grew by 28,000 persons, which is over 4,000 fewer than in 2020. The growth in living alone slowed down most among person aged under 30. Living alone has been growing for a long time, and at the end of 2021 there were 1.28 million persons living alone in Finland.
