The literature of the Library of Statistics mainly consists of books on statistics, demographics and economics, but the collections also include literature in the fields of social sciences, business economics, environmental protection and data processing. The Library also has series of publications of Finnish research institutes, such as the Research Institute of the Finnish Economy (ETLA), the Pellervo Economic Research Institute (PTT), the Bank of Finland, the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT), and universities.
The books published in 1980 and later are in the self-service collection arranged according to a shelf classification by subject. Older books are available from storeroom.
The books in the collection can be the searched from the Tilda database. The books are classified according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC). More recent literature is also key-worded according to the Finnish Keyword Index (YSA).
