Building costs rose by 1.6 per cent in March year-on-year

According to Statistics Finland, building costs rose by 1.6 per cent in March 2018 from one year back. The prices of materials went up by 2.4 per cent, those of services by 2.1 per cent and those of labour inputs by 0.6 per cent compared with March 2017.

From February to March, the total index of building costs remained unchanged. The prices of labour inputs, materials and services all remained unchanged from February.
