Building costs rose by 0,5 per cent year-on-year in May

According to Statistics Finland, building costs were 0.5 per cent higher in May 2015 than in May of the previous year. The prices of labour inputs in construction and the prices of materials rose by 0.4 per cent. The prices of other inputs increased by 1.1 per cent from the year before.

From April to May, the total index of building costs rose slightly. The prices of labour inputs went down by 0.4 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.2 per cent. The prices of materials rose by 0.6 per cent from the previous month.
