Turnover in service industries grew by 8.6 per cent in March to May

Turnover in service industries grew by 8.6 per cent in March to May from the corresponding time period of the year before. One year previously turnover in service industries grew by 2.9 per cent. Services are here examined exclusive of trade and the data have been adjusted for working days by eliminating the effects of calendar variations from them.

Among the service industries, turnover grew fastest in administrative and support service activities enterprises, whose turnover increased by 12.4 per cent from one year ago. Over ten per cent growth was also seen in the turnover of professional, scientific and technical activities and transportation and storage. The growth was slowest in information and communication and in realestate activities.
