Mass media statistics describe economy, enterprise structures, contents, consumption, audiences, internationalisation and labour force in diverse sectors of the mass media. A compilation publication, Joukkoviestimet – Finnish Mass Media, is produced of the data every second year. A selection of the tabular data are also published on Statistics Finland’s website.

Tables are updated continuously into a database for internal use. A concise selection of media statistics is available in Statistics Finland’s free online StatFin data service and as Excel tables.

A compilation publication (Joukkoviestimet – Finnish Mass Media) is produced every second year.
The tables on the website are updated on annual basis.
A statistical overview on the media market development is released on the website each year.
