Description

The statistics describe trends in the consumer prices of alcoholic beverages, describing price changes in relation to a chosen reference point. They provide information on the development of the real and nominal prices of alcoholic beverages in licensed serving and retail sales. With regard to retail sales, price indices for alcoholic beverages are based on data received from Alko Inc. and data collected by Statistics Finland from grocery stores. Price data on licensed serving sales are derived from the National Institute for Health and Welfare restaurant survey.
