The Library of Statistics serves people needing statistical data
Would you like to know how many enterprises there are in Finland today? Are you perhaps interested in the turnover generated by tourism, or in the development of consumer prices over the past 15 years? Do you wonder how Finland's gross domestic product is developing when compared to other EU countries?
Welcome to the Library of Statistics!
The Library of Statistics is an open-to-all service centre on Finnish and international statistical data. The Library stocks domestic and foreign statistics in print and electronic form as well as archive materials. Statistical materials are also available for loan. In addition, customers have access to professional advice and service.
The Library of Statistics has customer work stations which can be used to search for statistical data also from chargeable domestic and foreign data services. Personal support for your data search is available on site, via e-mail or over the telephone. The Library also provides a European Statistical Data Support service on Eurostat data.
The Library of Statistics is located in Sörnäinen, Helsinki, next to the Kalasatama metro station on the second floor of Statistics Finland. The visiting address is Työpajankatu 13 B. The Library has its own street entrance.
The Library is open to customers from Monday to Friday at 10 am - 4.15 pm. Materials on loan can be returned between 8 am and 10 am to the main lobby by Statistics Finland's main entrance.

Online services are available to customers 24 hours a day. On its Internet pages at www.stat.fi/library the Library of Statistics provides various ways of accessing statistical data as well as tools for locating statistical data on the Internet.
